City of Southend Lions Club

Since founded in 1970, we have raised over £300,000 to support charitable causes within the Southend Community.

Over the last 10 years we have raised £70,457 and raise an average of £7,000 a year.

Our mission is to support those less privileged in Southend-On-Sea and take an active stance to promote community values and helping others.

Our motto is “We Serve” as we do just that, directly helping hundreds of people each year.

Our club meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month and we welcome new members who share our vision and want to join us on our mission.

Our aims are;

• To promote the principles of good government and good citizenship.
• To take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.
• To unite the Clubs in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding.
